Azerbaijani flag waves on Africa’s highest peak – PHOTOS

The Azerbaijani flag was hoisted on the highest point in Africa in late January. Baku-born Jamil Khairulin, who currently resides in San Francisco, celebrated his 50th anniversary in such a way.  As part of an international group of climbers, Khairulin conquered Africa’s highest ponit- the Uhuru Peak on the volcano Kibo (5,895 meters).
