Transport Ministry prepares for fierce frost

The Azerbaijani Transport Ministry’s Azeryolservis JSC is ready to use all the available reserves with a view to ensure the smooth flow of vehicles on the roads, Spokesman Punhan Mursaliyev said.

He noted that   special technique and company’s employees already work on the country’s roads to clear the consequences of the heavy snowfall. The company has a reserve of about 40 000 cubic meters of sand and increased reserves of salt, and  about 100 units of special technique will be involved to eliminate  consequences of the heavy snowfall in case of necessity, he added.
