Snow and freeze to cover Azerbaijan

The National Hydrometeorology Department of the Ecology and Natural Resources Ministry reported that the weather is predicted to re-intensify in Baku and Absheron peninsula. On Feb.2, strong north-western wind is expected, along with snow. Blizzard is forecast.  The temperature is expected to be 0-(-3) ?C at night and in the afternoon. Roads will be covered with ice.

The weather is forecast to be interruptedly rainy in the country’s regions. Snow is expected to be intensive and strong in some places. Mist will be in several places. Temperate western wind will blow, and will strengthen off and on in several places. The temperature will be -3-6?C at night, -3?C to +2?C in the afternoon, -12-17?C in the mountains at night, and 0-(-5) ?C in the afternoon. The minimum temperature in the high mountainous areas is predicted to be -18-23?C. Roads will ice up.

The weather is predicted to intensify anew, along with strong north-western wind and snow in Baku and Absheron peninsula. Snowstorm is expected. Roads will be covered with ice. Frosty weather condition will last till February 5.
