Traffic flow runs smoothly on Azerbaijan’s roads

All roads in the direction of the country’s regions are open to the traffic movement, Azerbaijani Interior Ministry’s Central State Traffic Police Department spokesman Kamran Aliyev reported.

Despite the frosty and snowy weather, no serious problems observed on the highways.

The traffic movement did not stopped on the highways Baku-Guba and Baku-Shamakhi, roads Gyandob-Yalama, Ismayilli-Mughanli and Agsu pass in spite of the glaze. The most dangerous areas were cleared of snow and ice, or sprinkled with sand.
 
There were recorded seven accidents, in which two people were killed and seven wounded, on Jan.30, Aliyev said. Cold and snowy weather will continue until the end of January.
