Baku waits for 'snowfall'

The weather will be rainy in Baku and Absheron peninsula on Jan. 24. The National Hydrometeorological Department of Ecology and Natural Resources Ministry reported that it will sleet and snow in the second half of the day.  Mild north-east wind will blow. The temperature will be close to 0 C at night, 2-5 C in the daytime.

On Jan. 24, the weather will be mainly rainless in the Azerbaijani regions. Snowfall is expected in some eastern regions at night. It will be foggy in some places. East wind will blow. The temperature will be 0- -5 C at night, 0- 5 C in the daytime, in the mountains -8-  -13 C at night, 0- -5 C in the daytime. The minimum temperature will be -17- -22 C in the high mountain areas.
