Security measures strengthened at Baku Metro

The Baku Metro had been provided with a centralized monitoring system to ensure safet, the Interior Affairs Ministry reported. A number of measures have been taken in this regard, the ministry’s report reads. Particularly, a modern video monitoring system has been set up, and cameras’ coverage area was increased at the stations.

The main feature of the new cameras is the "zoom" (zooming) effect, which shows people’s faces more clearly. New cameras were fixed in the subway cars and at the exit and entrance of the subways, allowing monitoring at any time, regardless of weather conditions.
