
The National Hydrometeorology Department of the Ecology and Natural Resources Ministry reported that in Baku and Absheron peninsula the weather will be variable nebulous, mostly rainless, overcast in the evening. On Jan.10, fog will be in some places at night and in the morning. South-western wind will blow, will be followed by intermittently strengthening north-western wind in the afternoon. The temperature is expected to be +4-6˚C at night, +7-10˚C in the afternoon.
The weather will be mainly rainless in the Azerbaijani regions. Mist and drizzle will be in some places at night and in the morning. Western wind will blow, will strengthen off and on.
The temperature will be -1˚C to +4˚C at night, +8-13˚C in the afternoon, 0-(-5) ˚C in the mountains at night, and +5-10˚C in the afternoon. The minimum temperature in the high mountainous areas is forecast to be -10-15˚C.
From January 10 to January 12, the temperature close to the climate norm in the Absheron peninsula is considered a positive meteorological determinant, nevertheless, substantial fluctuation of atmospheric pressure is deemed unsuitable for meteorologically sensitive people.
