Azerbaijani police to tighten security during holidays

Azerbaijani police will tighten security on the occasion of the Day of Solidarity of the World Azerbaijanis and New Year celebration, Azerbaijani Interior Ministry’s spokesman Ehsan Zahidov said.

He said Interior Minister, Colonel-General Ramil Usubov signed a relevant order. According to the order, with the view of ensuring public order and safety on the occasion of the Day of Solidarity of the World Azerbaijanis and New Year celebration, the personnel of all bodies and units of the Interior Ministry will tighten security. The number of the policemen will be increased in the crowded places. All forces will be mobilized to ensure the public order and safety.
