Azerbaijan sets new fees for number plates

The Azerbaijani drivers will be able to acquire the state number plates (registration plate) on new fees in accordance with the Azerbaijan President’s order on amendments to the Law "On State Duty".
 
Under the decree, the Cabinet of Ministers and the Justice Ministry were tasked to bring the regulations into line with the law.    Under the changes, the fees are determined by combinations of numbers and alphabetic characters on the state number plates.
 
Thus, the  amount of the state duty required for the numbers of 001, 002, 003, 004, 005, 006, 007, 008 and 009 on the number plates is 1,500 manat and for the numbers with the same numbers and same alphabetic characters – 2,500 manat..
 
The amount of the state duty required for the numbers of 100, 200, 300, 400, 500, 600, 700, 800 and 900 on the number plates is 1,000 manat, with the same numbers and same alphabetic characters - 1,500 manat; the numbers 111, 222, 333, 444, 555, 666, 777, 888 and 999 - 500 manat, and the same numbers and same alphabetic characters - 1,000 manat.  The state duty for other number plates is 18 manat.
