Development process in Azerbaijan appraised

Azerbaijan`s Minister of Emergency Situations, colonel-general Kamaladdin Heydarov yesterday met with ambassador of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland Peter Bateman. Heydarov briefed the diplomat on the activity of the Ministry.

Kamaladdin Heydarov also spoke of joint efforts to be made to strengthen cooperation between the two countries in the emergency management. The British diplomat praised the ongoing development process in Azerbaijan.

He stressed the necessity of enhancing cooperation between the two countries` relevant bodies even more. After the meeting, Peter Bateman familiarized himself with the work of the Ministry`s Multimedia Center, crisis management hall and operations room of the Crisis Management Center.
