Iran warns U.S.

Iran warned that it may attack the military bases of the U.S. worldwide with a view of defense, Fars news agency reported referring to Iranian Deputy Parliamentary Security Commission Chairman Mohammad Ismail Kovseri.

"If the U.S. plane which violated Iran's airspace was military one, the situation in the region would be quite different, and Iran would attack the U.S. military bases worldwide," Kovseri said.

Kovseri blamed the international community for being indifferent to this incident. "If Iranian planes violated the U.S. airspace, how many meetings would the U.N. Security Council hold and impose sanctions against Iran?" he said.  Once again he repeated the Iranian position, that in case of any attack on the country, Iran will defend itself not only within the country's borders.
