Quake hits Iran

An earthquake measuring 4.5 on the Richter scale jolted Iranian North Khorasan Province last night, IRAN news agency reported. According to the Seismological Center at the Tehran University's Geophysics Institute, the earthquake took place at 20:56 (local time) this morning. Several houses in villages adjacent to Isfirayn town were damaged and some houses were affected as a result of the earthquake. No injured people are reported.
