Georgian Railway’s revenues jump

LLC Georgian Railway's revenues increased by 20 percent in the first nine months of 2011. It is total revenue, while revenue from freight traffic increased by 23 percent, the company said.

The company reports a revenue growth from traffic of both dry and bulk cargo. According to the company, in January-September 2011, net income amounted to $144.5 million lari ($ 1 = 1.66 lari). Over the same period of 2010, the company's net income hit 64.5 million lari in total.
