Saakashvili: Unemployment - main pain for Georgia

"Unemployment is the main pain for us," "Georgia Online" informational analytical portal quotes the Georgian President Mikhail Saakashvili as saying on Imedi Television Company’s special TV programme "Special reportage".

He said unemployment in Georgia decreased to 15.5 percent, which is a positive figure. As Saakashvili said, this figure will decrease to 10 percent by 2015.

"Some 15 and 10 percent are specific peoples. It is the main pain for us. There is nothing worse than a child wakes up in the morning, while his parents have nowhere to go, they even have no business and they do not know how to keep their child," Saakashvili said.

He stressed several ways to overcome unemployment. In particular it is the construction of roads, new energy projects (construction of power plants) and tourism.
