Five-year-old boy listed "missing" found alive near Lake Sevan

A 5-year-old boy who has been listed missing in Lake Sevan of Armenia was found on Wednesday morning.

The rescuers found Eduard Siramargyan alive not far from Lake Sevan at 10:30 a.m. The child had spent overnight under a tree. He failed to respond to the calls by rescuers and his relatives. The child’s father Arthur Siramargyan expressed gratitude to the rescuers and all those involved in search operations, Armenian Rescue Service informed NEWS.am.

"Our family went to have rest in Lake of Sevan. In the morning Eduard was playing with his younger brother. Later they began playing games and running. After a while we noticed Eduard was not there. We alerted the emergency service," he noted.

As reported earlier, a 5-year-old child was lost in Lake Sevan of Armenia on Tuesday.

Eduard Siramargyan, a resident of Yerevan was lost while playing with his 4-year-old brother.

Rescue teams arrived at the scene and started search operations in the nearby forest and beaches. As of August 24, 8:00 a.m. the child had been listed missing.
