Russia introduces new rules to accept and consider visa applications of Georgian citizens

The interests section of the Russian Federation at the Swiss Embassy in Georgia gradually turns to the electronic applications to provide visas for the Georgian citizens wishing to travel to Russia, the Foreign Ministry of Georgia said.

In this regard, new rules are applied for admission and consideration of visa applications. In particular, the citizens of Georgia will fill in an online application for the visa and print, sign and submit it to the consular service of Russia's interests section.

The applications, both in the electronic version and filled in by hand, will be accepted until Aug. 26.
