Turkish PM to visit Kazakhstan

Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan is expected to visit Kazakhstan in the near future.
The upcoming visit was mulled during the Kazakh Foreign Minister Yerzhan Kazykhanov’s talks with Erdogan in Istanbul, which hosted an emergency meeting of the Organization of the Islamic Cooperation on the situation in Somalia.

"The sides discussed the preparations for the planned visit to Kazakhstan, as well as the current status and future directions of the Kazakh-Turkish bilateral cooperation," the ministry reported. .

Erdogan said that Kazakhstan is a strategic partner of Ankara in the Central Asian region.
