Armenia's coalition needs time

Following their 5th meeting Aug. 16, the delegations of Armenia's ruling coalition and of the opposition Armenian National Congress (ANC) issued a joint statement, Tert.am reported.

Head of the ANC delegation Levon Zurabyan read out the document, and the two delegations left without answering any questions. The newspaper writes:

"Although the sides did not make any comments, it is obvious that the ANC demands the release of its active members. The ruling coalition, in turn, asked for time until this Friday. So the fate of the dialogue will be decided this Friday."
