Former analyst of Turkish intelligence: Erdogan government's voices message to Kurdish separatists

The statements by the Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan that Turkey is preparing to strengthen measures to combat terrorism are directed against the pro-Kurdish Peace and Democracy Party (BDP), and indicate that the Turkish authorities will not go to the reason of Kurdish separatists, said the former analyst of Turkish intelligence Mahir Kaynak.

"These sharp statements of the Turkish Prime Minister revealed the government's position on Kurdish separatists. This is a kind of message that they will fail to achieve their goals by means of blackmail," said Kaynak.

Recently, Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan stated that Turkey will launch a new phase of struggle against terrorism. He promised that after the holy Muslim month of Ramadan ends, the Turkish authorities will launch a new, more precise plan for combating terrorism.
"Our patience is at a breaking point. After the month of Ramazan, concrete measures will be taken," said Erdogan.

Kaynak believes that this statement was made on the backdrop of tenser situation with terrorism in Turkey, and undoubtedly, will bring positive results. According to the analyst, the main branches of the fight against terrorism must be logistics and intelligence activities.

"The planned phase of the fight against terrorism would be fruitful. The Turkish authorities are set in this issue enough strongly," said Kaynak.
