The three active members of the opposition Armenian National Congress (ANC) that were detained on Aug. 9 and released three days later have been summoned to the Head Investigation Department of the RA Police, Tert.am reported.
They are to arrive at the department at 1:00 p.m., Aug 16, reports the Haykakan Zhamanak newspaper.
According to the information at the newspaper's disposal, the law-enforcers are to bring charges against Areg Gevorgyan, Sahak Muradyan and David Kiramijyan.
On Aug. 15, the ANC gave 24 hours to the Armenian authorities for releasing the detainees.
At his meeting with journalists, Arman Musnyan, Spokesman for Armenia's first president and ANC leader, said that the Aug. 9 incident between the ANC activists and policemen is a major impediment to progress in the ANC-authorities dialogue.
"Like in the case of 150 political prisoners, this is a major impediment to the ongoing dialogue," he said. "But we still have 24 hours, and we will make a decision depending on our people's status before 10:00 a.m., August 16," he added.
The 5th round of the ANC-authorities dialogue was to begin at 10:00 p.m., Aug 16.
