558 released under amnesty in Armenia

As of July August 6, 558 people have been released under the amnesty, proposed by Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan, News.am reported.

The amnesty was approved by the Armenian parliament on May 27 on the occasion of 20th anniversary of Armenia’s independence.

Sentences of 323 prisoners were reduced.
