Iran and Russia sign transport MoU

The fifth meeting of joint Iran-Russia workgroup was held in Moscow and it was hosted by Russian Transportation Ministry, IRNA reported.

Russian deputy transport minister, Alexander Davidenko emphasized on making use from all existing transportation capacities.

He expressed hope that completion of North-East international transportation route which is one of the most important projects of the country will be implemented in good manner at the presence of officials of both countries.

The North-South international route connects Iran, India, Russia and northern European countries.
