Armenia appoints new consul general to Adjara

Adjara Chief Levan Varshalomidze received Armenian Ambassador to Georgia Hovhannes Manukyan. He introduced Armenia’s new consul general to the autonomous republic Garik Israelian.

The introductory meeting addressed cooperation between Georgia and Armenia, and Armenian investments in the region. It was also decided that Adjara will present its tourism and investment potential in Armenia.

The officials also agreed to hold an enlarged bilateral meeting to develop proposals on deepening economic relations in the near future.
