Iran environment experts to join Caspian Sea meeting

Iranian Department of Environment experts are to join the upcoming Caspian Sea littoral states' meeting in Astana, Kazakh capital, ISNA reported.

The conference to be held in coming days mainly seeks to examine environment-related issues of the sea, agreements of the five states and current situation of the sea.

Also deputy foreign ministers of the five counties and representatives of the states for Caspian Sea will travel to Astana late September or early October to attend the 30th working group for arranging the sea's legal regime.

Iranian President Special Envoy for Caspian Sea Affairs Mohammad Mehdi Akhound-Zadeh takes part in the work group.
