General Necdet Ozel appointed commander of Turkish land forces

Commander of the gendarmerie forces of Turkey, army general Necdet Ozel was appointed commander in chief of the land forces of Turkey. According to "CNN Türk", the folloüing decree signed by President Abdullah Gul.

By another decree, Necdet Ozel appointed Deputy Chief of General Staff of Turkish Armed Forces.
