Iranian armed forces receive two new types of weapons

The Iranian armed forces have received two new types of weapons -- anti-tank and anti-helicopter weapons, the Fars news agency quoted Iranian Defense Minister Ahmad Vahidi as saying.

Vahidi said the anti-tank weapons can find trouble spots in tank armor and attack the,.
The anti-helicopter weapons are equipped with a laser sight, which is characterized by a maximum accuracy of target defeat, he added.

Vahidi stressed that a large-scale production of these weapons has been already started.

He also said that at present different defense means are being produced, which will be handed over to the armed forces in the near future.
