IFC to hold regional conference in Tbilisi

The International Finance Corporation (IFC) plans opening an international conference "The tax system for micro and small enterprises" at the Tbilisi Marriott hotel today. The event is prepared in cooperation with the Georgian Finance Ministry and the organization "International dialogue on tax issues."

The conference will be attended by 70 representatives from 30 countries in Europe and Central Asia, including high-ranking officials.

This is the first conference that will develop new approaches which draw on international best practice and familiarize Georgia with the experience in improving the tax system for micro and small enterprises.

The conference is sponsored by the Ministry.
