11 March 2011 [16:31] - TODAY.AZ
Georgia signed a contract for $120 million with the Turkish company TurkMol. The agreement envisages the construction a shopping center in the territory of the Delice metro station in Tbilisi in two years, Georgian Economy and Sustainable Development Minister Vera Kobalia told journalists on Thursday.

The contract was concluded during an international real estate exhibition in Cannes. The investors, attending the exhibition, were able to get familiar with the projects implemented in Anaklia, Mestia and Gudauri.

The Georgian stand included projects of the National Investment Agency and private companies.

The Tbilisi City Hall also presented large-scale projects, which envisage the transfer of the railway and the development of the capital’s outskirts.

As Tbilisi Mayor Gigi Ugulava said, the goal of taking part in the exhibition is to attract new investments.

"Investors are given the opportunity not only to get an abstract presentation, but to know how much is needed to invest in any project and how much profit will be made," he said.
