Iran to extend rail way road to Syria and Lebanon

Iran to promote railway roads to west where it will joins transit line to Syria and Lebanon, first VP said Monday, reported ILNA.

Mohammad Reza Rahimi underlined '' on of the most important government plans for future years is to construct highways and especially west rail way road , the rail way joins Iran’s khosravi border to Iraq''.

He added '' after this process we progress the railway road to Syria and Lebanon therefore boosting western transit line is on the agenda to develop the region.''
According to ILNA the first VP stressed that next year the transit lines will be as important as Oil industry for Iran.

''The Islamic Republic capacities are unpredictable and vast which we can join all continents.''

He underlined '' the country’s railway road has the capacities to join African and European countries as well therefore progress in west railway plan leads to increase in regional market.''
