About 100 members of "Armenian power" gang arrested in California

 U.S. law enforcement agencies arrested in Southern California 99 members of the Armenian ethnic criminal group "Armenian Power" in Southern California the Associated Press reported on Wednesday referring to prosecutor's office representative Thom Mrozek.

Hundreds of californian and federal police officers were involved in an ongoing operation against the group. Arrests took place in Glendale and East Hollywood (Los Angeles area).

Members of the "Armenian power" were charged with racketeering, murder, attempted murder, kidnapping, extortion and other crimes, RIA Novosti reported.

Group also allegedly involved in identity data theft and fraud, said the agency.
