
Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan had a telephone conversation with U.S. President Barack Obama on Monday, Anadolu Agency reported.
The parties discussed the issue of the use of chemical weapons by Bashar al-Assad against the Syrian people.
Turkey and the U.S. should work together for a political solution of crisic and to continue to support the Syrian coalition and the Supreme Military Council.
The parties also discussed the events in Gezi park.
Both leaders noted coomon values ??of the two countries in matters of freedom of speech and of press, and freedom of demonstration.
