Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan said he hoped the killing in Paris of three Kurdish activists, including Sakine Cansiz, a prominent exiled militant, would not disrupt peace talks with the banned Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK), reported dpa.
Erdogan said it was unclear whether the victims were targeted in an internal PKK feud or by opponents of the peace talks between his government and jailed PKK leader Abdullah Ocalan, official Anadolu agency reported.
"There are those who do not want this," he said of talks aimed at getting the PKK to disarm.
