Women security guards to appear in Iran

Iranian police said it will be enlisting women to work as security guards in the country, ISNA reported citing Head of Police Department for Crime Preventing, Colonel Nasser Sefiyan.

Sefiyan noted that the latest police plan for preventing daily crimes includes enlisting women as security guards at malls, parks, places of residence, and so on.

The Colonel noted that such move would help to prevent women thieves and men dressed as women from stealing things.

From this point of view, Sefiyan noted, that hiring women as security guards is important.

According to Sefiyan, using women security guards would help to prevent abuse of security cameras installed in malls and other facilities, as well as help to improve businesses in the country, aside from preventing various theft attempts.
