09 July 2012 [14:11] - TODAY.AZ
The possibility of new contracts for the supply of Russian arms to Iran is not being discussed, Russian Ambassador to this country Levan Dzhagaryan said, RIA Novosti reported.

"This issue is not on the agenda, so far nothing is clear," Dzhagaryan said, adding that this is a "sensitive issue".

Regarding the new round of talks between Iran and the Six powers on Islamic Republic's nuclear program, Dzhagaryan noted that the date has not yet been determined, adding that its important for the negotiations to continue.

Iran and 5+1 group (Britain, China, France, Russia, and the United States plus Germany) held three sessions of talks in Baghdad on May 23 and 24 after an earlier round of negotiations in the Turkish city of Istanbul in mid-April.

Another round of nuclear talks was held in Moscow on June 18-19. The Iranian negotiating delegation in the Moscow talks was led by Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council (SNSC) Saeed Jalili, and the P5+1 group of countries was headed by Catherine Ashton.

Then on July 3, negotiations between Iran's scientists and their counterparts from P5+1 group were hosted again in Turkey's Istanbul.
