Turkey not to hold talks with terrorists

The Turkish government will never negotiate with terrorists, TRT Haber TV channel quotes the country's Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan as saying.

"Turkey will never get down to negotiations with terrorists," Erdogan said.

Turkey actively fights against terrorism. The Turkish Air Force attacks positions of Kurdish separatists in the east of country.

The conflict between Turkey and the PKK, which seeks creation of an independent Kurdish state, has continued for more than 25 years, it has claimed more than 40,000 lives. The UN and the EU recognized PKK as terrorist organization.
