Turkey neutralizes five terrorists

Turkish security forces killed five militants of the terrorist Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK ) organisation on Friday, the newspaper Sabah reported. The operation was carried out in a Kozluk village near the Batman town.

The conflict between Turkey and the PKK has been on-going for more than 25 years, claiming over 40,000 lives. It is recognised as a terrorist organisation by both the UN and EU.
