Batumi ambulance center chief detained

The Adjarian law enforcement bodies detained the chief of the Batumi ambulance center. TV-25 company reported that Nika Tevzadze was detained as a result of the checks carried out by the Control Chamber.

The law enforcement bodies do not make any comments, but medical staff said that the detention is related to financial irregularities. Nika Tevzadze has been heading the Batumi ambulance center for 10 years. The center subordinated to the Finance Ministry of the Adjarian Autonomous Republic.
