Iran executes prisoners

Two prisoners were executed in Iran on Tuesday. They were hanged in Arak prison. The two were charged with drug smuggling and were sentenced to death by the Arak Revolutionary Court.

One more prisoner was hanged in Zanjan prisoner of Iran on January 2. He also was convicted and executed for drug smuggling. His body was given to his family three hours later after the execution. 500 people charged with drug smuggling were hanged in Iran last year.
