Azerbaijani political parties express concern to OSCE PA chairman

Political parties in Azerbaijan have expressed concern over the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict to Chairman of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly Petros Efthimiou, Deputy Chairman of the ruling New Azerbaijan Party Ali Ahmadov told media.

"The representatives of political parties at the meeting expressed concern over the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict," he said. "I think that it is legitimate, because the Minsk Group operates within the OSCE. Unfortunately, despite much time has passed, the Minsk Group failed to demonstrate the fruitful activity in resolving the Nagorno-Karabakh problem."

He said Azerbaijani society considers the activity of the Minsk Group and the OSCE with criticism. There are serious grounds for this. The OSCE PA chairman was informed about this.
OSCE PA chairman Petros Efthimiou is on visit to Azerbaijan on May 12-13. Today he has met with the heads of opposition and ruling parties.
