Issues of preparation and holding TurkPA session discussed

Secretary General of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Turkish Speaking Countries (TurkPA) Ramil Hasanov has met in Bishkek with the vice-speaker of the Kyrgyz parliament Asilbek Jeenbekov.

Asilbek Jeenbekov highlighted on the Parliament's plan of actions, current political and socio-economic situation in the country, the reforms underway. Vice-speaker of Kyrgyz parliament expressed gratitude to the TurkPA member countries for support in difficult days of Kyrgyzstan.

Expressing gratitude for warm reception, Ramil Hasanov informed on the issues of preparation of the forthcoming second plenary session of TurkPA in Astana on April 27-29.

Astana session will be devoted to the 20th anniversary of sovereignty of Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan. Organizational issues, the agenda and changes and amendments in By-Laws of the Secretariat were also discussed during the meeting.
