Azerbaijani diplomat: WikiLeaks's information on eve of OSCE summit obstacles discussion of key issues

30 November 2010 [19:15] - TODAY.AZ
WikiLeaks's unconfirmed and unsubstantiated information in the run up to the OSCE summit in Astana creates obstacles in the discussion of key issues for the region, including the settlement of Armenian-Azerbaijani Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, Azerbaijan's Consul General in Los Angeles Elin Suleymanov said.

Speaking in a live news program of the American television channel Fox, Suleymanov noted that the fact of a leak of confidential diplomatic correspondence creates a crisis of confidence in the global community in relations with Washington and damages the U.S. interests in the world, the consulate said.

Infamous site WikiLeaks specializing in distributing classified documents published the declassified data on the U.S. foreign policy strategy on Nov.28.

Suleymanov said the appearance of the unconfirmed and unsubstantiated information in anticipation of the OSCE summit in Astana creates obstacles in the discussion of key issues, including the settlement of Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict over Nagorno- Karabakh conflict, for the Eurasian region as a whole.
