Germany's Federal Foreign Minister Guido Westerwelle congratulated Muslims residing in Germany, as well as Muslims around the world on the Ramadan Holiday, the Embassy of Germany in Azerbaijan said.
In his congratulatory message Westerwelle shares the grief of those who experienced the tragedy during the past weeks and months, and those who can not meet the Ramadan Holiday at their home with family members.
"I express my respect for people who are making all efforts to establish inter-religious and intercultural understanding and trust. They create a world in which people respect and trust each other and build the cross-cultural bridges. We want also in the future to maintain and develop our cooperation," the message reads.
