Azerbaijani MPs visit families of fallen soldiers

Azerbaijani MPs Ganira Pashayeva and Havva Mammadova visited the families of Azerbaijani soldiers killed in repelling the attack of the Armenian armed commando group.
"We have visited families of martyrs Parvin Abdullayev and Vugar Amirov, expressed condolences to their families and friends, and visited the graves of two martyrs," Pashayeva told Trend.

Armenian armed commando group crossed the contact line in the village of Chayli in Terter region and attempted to attack the positions of Azerbaijani armed forces Aug. 31 at 16:30, the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry said. After a serious response from Azerbaijani soldiers, the Armenian side lost three soldiers and some were injured. Two Azerbaijani soldiers - 19-year-old Amirov Vugar (enlisted by the Imishli military office) and 19-year-old Abdullaev Parvin (enlisted by the Sabirabad military office) heroically died as a result of the incident.

During the meetings with the martyrs' families and friends, the MPs noted that the 50 million Azerbaijani people are proud of them and their heroic performance of duty to Azerbaijan, and bow before their spirit.

"The younger generation should follow the example of these young people, heroes, martyrs," the deputies stressed. "The heroes and martyrs, sacrificing their lives for the sake of the homeland, will live forever in the history of Azerbaijan."

"We bow respectfully before the martyrs' families, as they brought up these children. The attention and care showed by the supreme commander, President Ilham Aliyev, to the families of martyrs should be an example for each of Azerbaijanis. We must pay a great attention to them," they noted.

The family members of martyrs said that they are proud of that their children died for their country and believe the Azerbaijani territories will be liberated from the occupation.

In turn, Pashayeva and Mammadova said that this day is not far away. The Azerbaijani flag will wave in Karabakh and all regions freed from the occupation and the souls of martyrs will rejoice.
