Kohout, highly appreciating the level of cooperation between countries, congratulated with the opening of the embassy in Baku and wished success in the work.

"I am really glad that we managed to open the embassy of the Czech Republic in Azerbaijan. It is not easy to open the embassy during economic crisis, especially given the fact that the current difficulties with the budget forced us to close several diplomatic missions," Kohout told Trend in an interview earlier.

In an interview minister expressed his confidence that this action will accelerate the development of further cooperation between the Czech Republic and Azerbaijan in various spheres. Besides politics and economy, it contributes to the development of relations in the spheres of education, tourism and cultural ties.
