Ilham Aliyev congratulated David Cameron on his appointment as UK's Prime Minister

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev sent a letter of congratulation to David Cameron on his appointment as the Prime Minister of UK on May 12th.

The letter says: “The present level of UK-Azerbaijan relations is satisfactory. Friendly ties and cooperation between our countries on bilateral and multilateral basis is characterized by its dynamics of development”.

Our joint activity for implementation of transnational projects concerning development of oil and gas fields in the Azerbaijani sector of the Caspian Sea, production and transportation of energy resources to the world markets is a huge contribution to the global energy security.

I am confident our interstate relations, friendship and cooperation will continue to develop and expand in line with interests of our peoples”.
