Reason for postponing U.S-Azerbaijani joint military trainings is disclosed

Joint military exercises of the United States and Azerbaijan were postponed by mutual agreement of Ministers of Defence of two countries, MP from Azerbaijani ruling party said.

"Postponement is not related to tension that have recently occurred between the U.S. and Azerbaijan. Joint military exercises between Azerbaijan and Georgia were postponed by mutual agreement of Ministers of Defence of two countries. Previously, we also faced the facts of postponement, planned to be held in Georgia" the Azerbaijani Parliament committee member on security and defence, Deputy Executive Secretary of the ruling New Azerbaijan Party Siyavush Novruzov told Trend.

Novruzov also pointed out, that the place of these mlitary trainings will be determined after the discussions of the Azerbaijani and U.S. Defense ministers. Azerbaijan refused from holding joint military exercises with the U.S., which were scheduled for May.
