It is the right time to change the OSCE Minsk-Group's co-chair structure, Ruling New Azerbaijan Party (NAP) Deputy Chairman and Executive Secretary Ali Ahmadov told the journalist today.
According to Ahmadov, this view is based on reality that the OSCE Minsk-Group co-chair countries have not yet been able to demonstrate commitment to the issue of settling the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and Azerbaijan's position as a state subject to occupation is not protected adequately.
"We believe that it is time to make changes to the OSCE Minsk-Group's co-chair structure. Turkey may be the most necessary and useful candidate to improve and complete this format," Ahmadov added.
Being friendly and fraternal country, Turkey is interested in resolution of the conflict in the framework of restoration of Azerbaijan's violated rights. Theretofore we hail Turkey's joining to the process, Ahmadov said.
"Joining of Turkey, which has a great authority in the region, to this process may give great impetus to the resolution of the conflict," Ahmadov noted.
