Some 30 more religious communities have been re-registered with the State Committee for Work with Religious Associations of Azerbaijan.

Certificates and extracting documents of State Register were presented to Muslim and non-Muslim religious communities on April 8.
Committee Chairman Hidayat Orujev congratulated the leaders of organizations that have received registration and wished them good luck and urged them to follow the legal framework of state-religious relations, help to maintain a stable religious situation, to exercise civil and religious disobedience to alien religions.
"The secular state building in Azerbaijan is the choice of the citizens. No foreign religious influence can go counter to popular belief. It is unacceptable to use religion for political purposes," he said.
