Azerbaijani President receives International Fencing Federation chief

Usmanov praised the Azerbaijani leader's contribution to developing all kinds of sport in the country, including fencing.

He expressed his assurance, that Azerbaijani fencers would gain successes due to support of the government.

The Head of State stressed the importance of holding Junior and Cadet World Fencing Championship in Azerbaijan, hailing activities of the International Fencing Federation and its President in this regard.

The President stated that “all types of sports are developing in the country”.

President Ilham Aliyev said organizing such championships and tournaments in Azerbaijan makes contribution to expanding international cooperation and developing fencing in the country.
