Azerbaijani official: Some forces in Iran not interested in improving Azerbaijani-Iranian relations

Some forces in Iran are not interested in normalizing Azerbaijani-Iranian relations, head of the Social and Political Department of the Azerbaijani Presidential Administration Ali Hasanov told media while commenting on the burning of the Azerbaijani flag in Iran.

"We are trying to prevent similar incidents," Hasanov said.

He said Iran is not taking measures to prevent similar incidents.

The Iranian Seher TV channel aims to increase social and political tension, Hasanov added.

"As a state we are against such attempts and are expressing our position to Iran's relevant authorities," he said.
